Skye’s Proposal: Turning Red had really admirable goals but failed to deliver on them.

Kaitlyn’s Proposal: It’s a really moving coming of age story, has a really beautiful message about family and especially Mother-Daughter relationships, but it unfortunately is caught up in an American Christian Culture war about identity and self actualization that causes us to misinterpret it.
