The Movie Proposal

Hosted by Josh Lindsay and Skye Jethani, "The Movie Proposal" is a deep dive into movies from two thoughtful Christian guys. We talk about something old, something new, something borrowed and something blew (it blew our minds or it blew chunks). Check it out! It's a lot of fun!

Something Old:

Josh’s: Into the Woods

Skye’s: A Beautiful Mind

Something New: Derek DelGaudio’s in & of Itself

Josh’s Proposal: I propose Derek DelGaudio's in & of Itself (cause that’s the title, by the way) will only payoff for the willing few.

Skye’s Proposal: I propose that Derek DelGaudio's in & of Itself reveals that we are so desperate for affirmation that we will cry over it, even when we know it’s BS. We are a culture so desperate for a religious experience in a secular environment.

Something Borrowed:

Our favorite film of the first 100 Episodes of the movie proposal:

Josh’s favorite film: Knives out

Skye’s: Wonder

Jason’s: Yesterday

Something Blew:

Josh’s: Den of thieves, Pretend it’s a City & Fargo

Skye’s: Succession, The Lady and the Dale & WandaVision

Jason’s: Mike Birbiglia’s Working it out With Frank Oz & Hitman 3
